Getting married in 2020 – probably the biggest wrench you can throw in a couple’s already complicated wedding planning process. Changing the wedding venue less than a month out from your wedding day is likely to mess with even the calmest bride. But Emma and Skylar managed to secure one of the most beautiful venues I ever got to photograph at. Pebble Creek Farm in Genevieve, Missouri.
Surrounded by tall, sun-kissed fields, the bright barn sits out in the country – perfectly tucked away for intimate weddings, like Emma and Skylar’s.
Their wedding day was nothing short of magical – no eye stayed dry (mine included!) during their tear-filled promises of forever. And the reception followed suit: personal toasts, hilarious slide shows, and musical performances presented by their loved ones made this wedding so intimate, warm, and deeply touching.
As their closes friends and family sent off Emma and Skylar, I couldn’t help but smile – realizing that I had the honor to be part of a very small selection of people witnessing two madly in love people become husband and wife.
