Where do I even begin with this wedding...
... not only was I lucky enough to capture Laura & Joel's love story, but I got to meet their family and friends - some of the most supportive and sincere people I have ever met at a wedding.
The getting ready part of any wedding day usually sets the mood for the rest of the day - it can be emotional, chaotic, chill or tense - but in this case, the bridal suite at the Franklin of Soulard was beaming with positive vibes. From the second I arrived, Laura's bridesmaids assisted me with everything I needed, and we chatted until Laura entered the room - upon seeing her finished look, we were speechless and couldn't believe how absolutely stunning she looked.
After Joel and Laura exchanged vows at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic church, we stopped by the Emerson Grand Basin at Forest Park for classic portraits, followed by shots at the hotel and a quick outfit change before we made out way to the best location of the day!
Trust me when I say that these wedding formals atop the parking garage are my Nr. 1 favorite wedding photos I have ever taken.
The skyscraper reflected the sun perfectly and illuminated the bridal party in the most flattering spotlight. Add the perfect champagne pop , and you'll get an over-the-top excited photographer who's heart is skipping a beat.
A random run-in with Disney princesses, a sparking champagne pop, neon signs, shots at the hotel bar, a dress change, delicious wedding cake (baked by not other than the groom himself!), and a magical sparkler exit - this St Louis wedding is proof that the perfect wedding does exist!
