Talk about a laid-back wedding! Peyton and Tyler’s focus was all about living in the moment, making unforgettable memories with their closest friends and family, and setting the record for the shortest and sweetest exchange of vows. From a quick trip down the aisle to a homestyle buffet in a rustic German-inspired dining room. The whole day was truly unique and marked with sweet gestures of love, laughter, and happiness.
This was my first time photographing at das Bevo – a windmill wedding venue and Biergarten in St. Louis, Missouri. A creaking, tight, staircase leads up to the cozy bridal suite and groom’s quarters. And while the guys enjoyed some guy time (drinking booze, of course!) Peyton added the finishing touches to her ensemble. The unique Etsy bee hairpin matched her tattoo perfectly, and as Peyton happily twirled in her dress, I knew I was going to love every minute of today’s wedding: From the emotional first look in the tower with windmill blades swooshing by, to the delicious donuts and a personal highlight – a tiny bee landing on Peyton’s bouquet at just the right time – it was one for the ages.
